One of our first projects when working with Kat on her website was to work collaboratively to help her design a digital logo. As Kat works in the physical with paint and mixed media, she had incredible ideas, but wasn’t used to working digitally, and so had struggled to come up with a solution.
We worked together in real time to design the logo you see here. Kat’s art is whimsical with a mystic air and she wanted her logo to feel fluid and organic. She wanted texture and layers so the longer you gazed at it, the more you saw. We really enjoyed working on this project as it was so unusual and creative. It’s incredibly fulfilling to work with clients who have a vision but just need a helping hand bringing it to life digitally.
this site is a celebration of everything quirky and fun that can be done with web design. kat didn’t want the ‘usual format’, she didn’t want smooth and minimalist. we wanted bold, fun, organic and unique design, she wanted visitors to her site to be left wanting more. this site was about showcasing kat and her brand. to tell visitors who she is and to make sure they feel her energy in her work and her pages. it is a pleasure to showcase this as one of the most fun projects to date.

Kat was an unusual client, in that she wanted us to suggest every wild and wacky idea we could think of.
She wanted the website to feel like a magical journey for the user and was interested in the modern affects and animations that can be utilised in todays web design.
This project let our imaginations run wild and we are excited to be managing this one as a long term project so there will always be more to update as we employ new unusual features.
