Clean & Simple
Jamie came to us for logo and website design for his new business endeavour. After working DIY and carpentry for many years, he decided to utilise his skills to teach others and empower them in their own lives.
We loved his offering and his pre-existing branding worked beautifully for web design with a mixture of turquoise, black and white. Simplicity was key as the purpose of the site was to reach potential clients and offer them a more in depth look at the courses he offered. Jamie was paying separate subscriptions for booking platforms, advertising, emails etc and so wanted his entire business to now operate from his site with contact and booking capabilities.
To the left is his logo, simple yet effective at conveying his field and offerings.
Scheduling Subscription
As we have mentioned, Jamie really wanted his clients to be able to view availability, book and pay for his courses through his website. Directing clients to another platform to book is an instant barrier to easy conversion. By offering everything in one place it creates a more seamless user experience and allows for easy tracking of business expenses.
He opted to use Squarespace Aquity Scheuduling which is an add-on you can opt for with any Squarespace subscription.
We take care of your scheduling set-up from start to finish, setting up classes/appointments, payment methods, availability and other finer details.
Booking Courses
We created his course booking page from scratch so that the structure was bespoke and customised for his needs. Squarespace section templates can be a great way for a less experienced designer to ensure a good looking site. However there is limited customisation available on these sections and we find our clients often want something different.
We ensured the summary information contained all the relevant inclusions and price, allowing clients to click to view availability and further details. This was again to ensure it is easy for people to see the information they are seeking at a quick glance, aiding in the conversion of visitors to clients.
